NDC Offers New Hope for Nigerians Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Nigeria Democrat Congress (NDC) is positioning itself as a new political platform for Nigerians who are frustrated with recycled political promises. Chief Teddi Obei, the party's national vice chairman for the Southeast, spoke to journalists in Owerri, Imo State, on Thursday, asserting that the NDC offers a clean and uncompromising platform.

He highlighted the party's advantage as being the newest political entity in Nigeria, free from ongoing legal disputes that often plague other parties. Obei stated that the NDC aims to address grievances openly and build trust among its members.

He announced the interim appointments of Reginald Uwakw as the interim state chairman of the NDC in Imo State and Fabian Onyekwulisi as the chairman of the contact mobilization committee for the candidate selection process. The party is focused on securing victory in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
