NDDC Launches Anti-Corruption Transparency Unit

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) inaugurated an anti-corruption transparency unit at its headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The event was led by the Managing Director, Dr.

Samuel Ogbuku, who emphasized the importance of promoting ethical conduct to prevent corruption and strengthen public confidence in the commission. The new unit is part of NDDC's commitment to transparency and accountability in governance within the Niger Delta region.

Dr. Ogbuku urged the members of the unit, including Executive Director of Finance and Administration Boma Iyayi, to uphold the highest standards of integrity and ensure that there is no room for corruption.

He acknowledged the support of ICPC Chairman Dr. Musa Aliyu and highlighted the need for the unit to work closely with the NDDC's internal audit department to reinforce accountability.

The initiative is seen as a significant step towards strengthening institutional integrity and promoting transparency in public service.
