NDDC Launches Training in AI and Drone Operations

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has commenced an intensive technical training session for its personnel, specifically targeting the Corporate Affairs and Protocol Department. The training focuses on drone piloting, media content creation, and video editing using artificial intelligence tools.

The aim is to strengthen the capacity of the staff in the Corporate Affairs Department to effectively manage projects and promote innovative media integration. Dr.

Oluwatimilehin Bada, Assistant Director at the Office of the Executive Director for Corporate Services, represented the Executive Director, Lfedayo Abegund, who commended the leadership of the commission for prioritizing innovation. He particularly praised the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr.

Samuel Ogbuku, for his commitment to leveraging emerging technologies to improve institutional storytelling. Dr.

Selina Dan Albert, Head of the New Media Unit and Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs, emphasized the importance of adopting modern tools to meet the demands of fast-paced information management.
