NDLEA Seizes Captagon, Arrests Cocaine Smuggler in Kwara

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) reported a significant operation in Kwara State, where they seized Captagon, a highly addictive amphetamine, valued at 25 million naira. The seizure occurred on April 21, 2026, when NDLEA operatives intercepted a trailer along Bode Saadu Road, leading to the recovery of 10,000 Captagon pills and other drugs.

A 33-year-old passenger, Nasiru Mu Azu, was arrested. In a separate operation on April 24, 2026, another trailer was intercepted, resulting in the recovery of 155,900 capsules of tramadol and other drugs, with 24-year-old Aminu Isah taken into custody.

Additionally, a businessman, Ez Princ Emeka, was arrested on April 21, 2026, after excreting 45 pellets of cocaine, weighing 1.043 kilograms, following ingestion to evade detection. The NDLEA continues to combat drug trafficking across Nigeria, with multiple arrests and seizures reported.
