Lifelong Friends Reunite at Siasia-Harrison Wedding

On July 4, 2026, a wedding ceremony took place in Atlanta, uniting Shevoen Sean Siasia and Morgan Sloan Harrison. This joyful occasion also served as a reunion for lifelong friends Samson Siasia, Alphonsus Akahon, and the author, who first met as teenagers aspiring to represent Nigeria through the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON).

Founded by Chief Tony Eke, YSFON became a pivotal gathering place for promising young footballers in Lagos during the late 1970s. The event highlighted the enduring friendships formed through their shared passion for football, which began nearly five decades ago.

The gathering was a celebration of family, friendship, and the bonds that have lasted through the years, emphasizing that while trophies may fade, friendships built on character endure.
