LAUTECH Graduate Praises NELFUND for Academic Success

Augustin Ayorind, a first-class graduate from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), described the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as a "lifesaver" during a time of financial hardship. Ayorind, who emerged as the second-best graduate in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a CGPA of 4.61, shared his experience amid ongoing discussions about student loan schemes.

He noted that the financial support from NELFUND allowed him to focus on his studies rather than worrying about tuition fees and deadlines. Ayorind stated that the intervention helped restore valuable time and energy, enabling him to excel academically.

He acknowledged that the loan would be repaid, emphasizing the importance of such financial assistance in overcoming barriers to education. Other students, including Oladepo Caleb Olugbenga, who graduated with a CGPA of 4.89, also credited the loan scheme for their academic achievements, highlighting its crucial role in supporting students from challenging backgrounds.
