Nestlé Nigeria Awarded AEO Certification by Nigeria Customs Service for Supply Chain Security Excellence

Nestlé Nigeria Plc has been recognized by the Nigeria Customs Service for achieving the highest level of authorization, the AEO certification, in supply chain security and compliance excellence. The certification, valid for five years, signifies Nestlé Nigeria's adherence to trade regulations and global best practices.

The company underwent a rigorous evaluation process, including detailed customs audits and operational assessments. Out of 391 applications nationwide, only 35 companies were granted full certification, with Nestlé Nigeria being one of them.

The formal presentation of the certification took place in Abuja, where the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Alhaji Bashir Adewal Adeniyi, presented the certificate. Nestlé Nigeria's achievement of the AEO certification reflects its disciplined approach to operations and commitment to strengthening supply chain security.

Kasum Diabat, the Supply Chain Manager at Nestlé Nigeria, emphasized the certification as a recognition of the company's integrated and resilient supply chain system.
