NBA Nigeria Hosts Star-Studded Lagos Watch Party
A watch party to celebrate the tip-off of the new NBA season took place at Amore Gardens in Lagos, hosted by NBA Nigeria. The event attracted over 150 guests, including NBA partners, media personalities, entertainers, and basketball fans.
Among the attendees was award-winning rapper Paul George, who made his Celtics debut during the season opener. The game featured the Boston Celtics facing the Detroit Pistons, who made a remarkable comeback from a 22-point deficit to win 121-113.
Paul George scored a game-high 38 points, but the Pistons' decisive 23-0 run in the fourth quarter sealed their victory. Fola Folowosele, Country Head of NBA Nigeria, encouraged fans to follow the 2026-27 NBA season live on ESPN, SuperSport, Sporty TV, Prime, and NBA League Pass, the league's premium subscription service.
