Lebara Group Launches PoS Company in Nigeria, Opens Nationwide Agent Registration Portal

Lebara Group, a London-headquartered mobile virtual network operator, has entered the Nigerian market by launching a nationwide agent registration portal. This move is part of the company's infrastructure investment to prepare for its full commercial operations in Nigeria.

The portal aims to digitally onboard partners, including small and medium enterprises, independent distributors, and retail shop owners, to grow Lebara Nigeria's retail point of sale network across the country. The company plans to roll out its network gradually from 2025 to 2026, focusing on a digital-first approach to achieve rapid nationwide reach while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
