New Tax Identification Portal Launches in Nigeria
The Joint Revenue Board (JRB) and Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) have launched a new tax identification portal, which became fully operational on January 1, 2026. Olusegun Adesokan, the Executive Secretary of JRB, urged taxpayers who have not yet retrieved their tax IDs to utilize the self-service system, which ensures strong data protection and compliance with regulations set by the Nigerian Data Protection Commission.
