New Tenant Abducts Three Siblings in Ebonyi State

On Saturday, three siblings were abducted in Nwezenyi Village, Igbeagu Community, located in the Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The victims, identified as Favour, Obinna, and Kamso Okeoha, were taken by a woman who had recently rented an apartment in the area.

The Ebonyi State Police Command, represented by spokesperson Joshua Ukandu, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation has been initiated to locate and rescue the children. The suspect had moved into the compound just days before the abduction, which has left the community in shock and unsettled.

Residents noted that the woman appeared friendly and had made efforts to create a positive impression among the tenants. The parents of the abducted children were unavailable for comment, and sympathizers have gathered in the compound awaiting news of the children's return.

This incident adds to the growing concern over child abductions in the state, with a similar case reported in February 2026 involving three children.
