Tenant Abducts Three Siblings in Ebonyi Community

In a shocking incident in Nwezenyi Village, Igbeagu Community, Izzi Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, three siblings—Favour Okeoha, Obinna Okeoha, and Kamso Okeoha—were abducted by a new tenant on Saturday. The Ebonyi State Police Command, represented by spokesperson Joshua Ukandu, confirmed the abduction and stated that an investigation was launched to locate and rescue the children.

The suspect, a woman who had recently rented an apartment in the area, reportedly moved into the compound on Thursday, just two days before the abduction. Residents expressed shock and concern, noting that the suspect appeared friendly and had even painted positive messages on the walls of her apartment to create a good impression.

The incident has left the community unsettled, and sympathizers have gathered in the compound awaiting the children's return. This incident adds to the growing concern over child abductions in the state, which has seen similar occurrences in the past.
