Three Children Kidnapped in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State; Police Investigate Incident

In Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, three children, two males, and a female were kidnapped from a compound in Nkwagu Village. The children belonged to two separate mothers, Mr.

Happy Ofunna and Mr. Nwori Oluchi.

The incident occurred over the weekend when women visited the compound and allegedly abducted the children. SP Joshua Ukandu of the Ebonyi State Police confirmed the kidnapping and stated that the matter has been reported to the Central Police Station in Abakaliki for investigation.

The incident has caused panic and tension in the community, with residents calling for increased security measures to prevent child theft, which has become a recurring issue in the state.
