New Zealand Opens 3-Year Seasonal Visa for Nigerians, Focusing on Agriculture and Tourism

Nigerians can now apply for jobs in New Zealand under a new three-year seasonal visa program. The New Zealand government introduced two new visas, the Accredited Employer Work Visa and the Global Workforce Seasonal Visa, to support overseas recruitment for seasonal roles.

The program aims to fill skill gaps in sectors like agriculture, horticulture, tourism, and food processing. Applicants must have prior experience in relevant seasonal roles and spend at least three months outside New Zealand.

The visas are set to begin on December 6, 2025, targeting experienced seasonal workers globally to meet peak demand in various industries.
