Adeboye Declares Nigeria's Next President Decided by God

During a workers' meeting at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Lagos, Pastor Enoch Adeboye asserted that the outcome of Nigeria's next presidential election has already been decided by God, emphasizing that it is beyond human influence. He cautioned Nigerians against political anxiety, reinforcing the belief that God's will will ultimately prevail.

Adeboye urged citizens to remain prayerful and peaceful as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 elections. He reacted to comments from Isaac Omolehin, who described prominent Christian leaders, including David Oyedepo and William Kumuyi, as fathers of Christianity in Nigeria.

Adeboye clarified that he does not consider himself a father of Christianity in the country, stating that the leadership of the Redeemed Christian Church of God is sufficient. He also addressed allegations regarding the church's political affiliations, insisting that the RCCG speaks on national issues affecting citizens, including economic hardships, and promotes peace rather than political protests.
