Adeboye Declares Nigeria's Next President Determined by God

Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), addressed the topic of Nigeria's next presidential election during a workers' meeting on Saturday. He asserted that the outcome of the 2027 presidential election is already predetermined by God, indicating that human efforts alone cannot influence this decision.

Adeboye urged Nigerians to remain calm and engage in prayer, emphasizing that the future of the country ultimately rests in God's hands. He responded to comments from activist Omoyele Sowore regarding the church's leadership role, clarifying that the RCCG does not align with any political party, specifically the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adeboye maintained that the church remains non-partisan, allowing politicians to attend services without using the church as a platform for political campaigns. He also expressed readiness to participate in peaceful protests if necessary, recalling his involvement during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
