NFF clears the air on Taribo West's claims on Ex Super Eagles players

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has responded to former Super Eagles player Taribo West's criticism, where he expressed disappointment and described the neglect of Nigerian football heroes. West was particularly upset by the treatment of the late Peter Rufai's burial ceremony, calling it disheartening.

However, the NFF clarified that they had contributed to the final burial rites of every Super Eagles player who had passed away, including Rufai. The federation stood in solidarity with the legends and provided financial assistance to their families.

NFF representatives attended Rufai's funeral mass in Lagos and offered support to his family. West's emotional outburst highlighted the need for better treatment of former players and their families, with the NFF promising to continue supporting them.
