NFVCB Gets Permanent Headquarters After 28 Years, Hails Musawa’s Support

After 28 years of searching for a permanent headquarters, the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has finally secured a building, thanks to the support of Honourable Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa. The development has been hailed as a turning point for Nigeria's creative industry, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda also playing a role.

Dr. Shaibu Husseini, the Executive Director of NFVCB, described the moment as historic and credited the Minister for her dedication and guidance.

The new headquarters will not only strengthen the board's institutional capacity but also allow for the creation of a museum dedicated to Nigeria's audiovisual heritage. Minister Musawa praised Dr.
