NGA Launches Legal Forum to Boost Nigeria's Gas Sector

The Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) successfully convened its maiden legal forum, which served as a landmark platform to redefine the role of the legal regulatory framework in unlocking Nigeria's gas potential. The forum's theme focused on strengthening Nigeria's gas legal framework for a low-carbon, commercially viable future.

It brought together leading legal practitioners, policymakers, and industry executives for high-level, solution-driven dialogue regarding the future of the gas sector in the country. The session was presided over by Mr.

Aka Nwokedi, who underscored the urgency of aligning Nigeria's legal architecture with strategic gas ambitions. He noted that the next phase of growth in the sector will be defined by the strength and clarity of its regulatory environment.
