Nigeria to Launch First Gas and Power Infrastructure Map

Nigeria is set to launch its first comprehensive gas and power infrastructure map on the 25th of October during the NOG Energy Week in Abuja. This initiative, developed in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), aims to provide investors, policymakers, and industry stakeholders with detailed insights into the country's gas and power infrastructure.

The map will cover critical infrastructure across the energy value chain, including gas pipelines, processing facilities, power generation assets, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals. Accompanying the map will be a comprehensive report analyzing the gas industry, reviewing the implementation of the NNPC gas master plan for 2026, and assessing the role of gas in driving industrialization.

The release of this map is expected to enhance transparency and investor confidence, particularly as Nigeria seeks to strengthen its position in the global energy market amid ongoing geopolitical tensions and supply chain uncertainties.
