NGX Group H1 2026: ₦1.30 Dividend, 170% Profit Jump
Nigerian Exchange Group Plc has filed a corporate action press release dated 26 July 2026 announcing an interim dividend of ₦1.30 per ordinary share for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The filing also discloses the Group's first-half financial results, which include significant year-on-year growth across revenue, profit and total assets.
Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGXGROUP) has announced an interim dividend of ₦1.30 per ordinary share following the release of its first-half 2026 financial results. The Group recorded revenue of ₦17.60 billion in the period, a 118% increase from ₦8.08 billion in H1 2025. Total income rose 96% to ₦19.34 billion.
Transaction fees were the primary revenue driver, rising 169% to ₦13.34 billion. Listing fees grew 59% to ₦2.38 billion, while technology income increased 19% to ₦447.86 million. Operating profit climbed 155% to ₦10.62 billion.
The Group's share of profit from equity-accounted investees — driven primarily by Central Securities Clearing System Plc — rose 130% to ₦4.14 billion. Profit before tax reached ₦14.76 billion, up 170% from ₦5.46 billion in H1 2025, while profit after tax increased 146% to ₦10.36 billion.
Total assets stood at ₦75.87 billion as at 30 June 2026, with shareholders' equity at ₦60.49 billion, up from ₦55.20 billion at end-2025. The qualification date, closure period and payment date for the ₦1.30 interim dividend are to be communicated separately in line with regulatory requirements.
