The All-Share Index opened the week at an intraweek high of 252,405.94 before retreating to close at 251,131.37. Of the 171 equities tracked, 36 advanced, 42 declined, and 93 closed unchanged. Cumulative value traded across the week stood at 185,056,274,165.33 naira.
On the gainers board, LIVINGTRUST posted the strongest weekly performance, rising 32.69 percent from an open of 2.60 naira to close at 3.45 naira. ABCTRANS followed closely, advancing 32.14 percent from 5.60 naira to 7.40 naira. HMCALL gained 13.67 percent, closing at 3.41 naira from an opening price of 3.00 naira. JOHNHOLT added 12.9 percent to close at 8.75 naira, up from 7.75 naira, while VFDGROUP rose 12.5 percent from 12.00 naira to finish the week at 13.50 naira.
The losers list was led by SOVRENINS, which shed 19.85 percent over the week, falling from 2.62 naira to close at 2.10 naira. LEARNAFRCA declined 11.05 percent, moving from 8.60 naira to 7.65 naira. ETRANZACT dropped 10.93 percent, closing at 11.00 naira against an opening price of 12.35 naira. NEIMETH lost 10.24 percent to close at 7.45 naira from 8.30 naira, and THOMASWY fell 10.1 percent from 2.97 naira to end the week at 2.67 naira.
The five top gainers each recorded double-digit percentage advances, while all five top losers also posted double-digit declines, reflecting notable price movement at both ends of the performance table. The majority of tracked equities, 93 in total, recorded no price change across the week.
