NIBSS Launches Digest to Transform Nigeria's Payment Systems

The maiden issue of NIBSS Digest, published by Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS), focuses on the theme “Redefining the Future of Payments.” Premier Oiwoh, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NIBSS, sets the intellectual direction of the publication by highlighting that payment infrastructure often goes unnoticed until it fails. He emphasizes the need to look beyond transaction volumes to understand the complexities of the payment ecosystem.

Oiwoh frames the Digest as a “quarterly forum” aimed at exploring how code, policy, and institutional governance are transforming commerce in Nigeria and across the continent.
