NIDCOM Condemns Killing of Nigerian in India Over Romantic Dispute, Calls for Justice

The Nigerian Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has strongly condemned the tragic killing of Emeka Christian in Pune, India, allegedly by two compatriots, Chukwudi Okafor and Samuel Ez, over a romantic dispute. Chairperson Abike Dabiri-Erewa called for a thorough investigation by Indian authorities to ensure justice.

NIDCOM emphasized the importance of peaceful conflict resolution and unity among Nigerian diaspora, urging respect for the law and non-violence. The commission also urged citizens to uphold high standards of conduct and be each other's keeper in resolving conflicts peacefully.
