Nigerian Diaspora Commission Condemns Killings of Nigerian Students in UK and India

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), has strongly condemned the killing of 20-year-old Nigerian student Khale Oladipo in the UK. Oladipo, a second-year cybersecurity student at De Montfort University, was fatally stabbed at his home.

Dabiri-Erewa expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and called for UK authorities to ensure a thorough investigation and justice for the deceased. NIDCOM's Public Relations Officer, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, described the incident as heartbreaking and painful, emphasizing the loss suffered by Oladipo's family and the Nigerian community in the diaspora.

Additionally, NIDCOM condemned the murder of Emeka Christian, who was allegedly beaten to death by his brothers, Chukwudi Okafor and Samuel Ez, in India following a romantic dispute. The Commission urged Indian authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation to serve justice.

NIDCOM emphasized the importance of resolving family disputes amicably through dialogue.
