Niger Delta Chamber Aims for $5bn Investments, 500k Jobs

The Niger Delta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NDCCIMA) has unveiled a strategic plan to attract $5 billion in investments and create 500,000 jobs in the Niger Delta region over the next five years. This announcement was made by Chairman Ambassador Idaer Gogo Ogan during a pre-summit conference ahead of the Niger Delta Economic Investment Summit in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The summit, themed "Drive Investment, Innovate Industrial Growth in the Niger Delta," aims to mobilize investments and spur enterprise growth in the region. President Bola Tinubu is expected to attend, with Hon.

Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, as the keynote speaker. Dr.

Solomon Edebiri, Chairman of the local organizing committee, emphasized the summit's goal to position the Niger Delta as a competitive hub for investment and enterprise development. The event will include various promotional activities, including roadshows across the Niger Delta states and Lagos.
