Legal Experts Back Ndarani for Niger South Senate Seat

Prominent legal practitioners from the Niger South zone of Niger State have unanimously endorsed Barrister Moham Ndarani SAN as their preferred candidate for the Senate seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This endorsement was made during a strategic meeting of the Niger Zone Lawyer Forum held at the Women Commission Centre in Minna, which attracted over 170 senior lawyers from across the zone.

The forum, chaired by Bar Lakpen Yusuf Bida, expressed concerns over the persistent developmental setbacks faced by Niger South since the return to democratic governance in 1999. Despite the zone's geographical and political significance, it has not adequately benefited from federal government intervention projects.

The lawyers identified several factors contributing to this perceived inadequacy, including poor representation and ineffective utilization of legislative opportunities. The forum concluded that Ndarani possesses the necessary experience and leadership qualities to effectively represent the zone and accelerate its development, emphasizing the need for capable individuals to restore lost opportunities at the federal level.
