Niger State University Student Found Dead in Suspected Suicide Over Alleged Gambling Mismanagement

A tragic incident unfolded at Niger State University as a student named Kelvin Danlami was found dead in his room, hanging from the ceiling fan. Reports suggest that the deceased may have committed suicide over mismanagement of money entrusted to him for gambling purposes.

The Niger State Police Command spokesperson, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident as investigations continue. Aliyu Abubakar, the General Secretary of the Student Union Government, described the incident as tragic.

The victim was rushed to the Lapai General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
