The death toll from the Great Nigeria Building fire in Balogun Market, Lagos Island, has reached 10, with recovery operations ongoing. Among the victims identified are individuals like Obum, Omatu, and siblings Steve, Casmir, and Collin.

Additionally, a suspected terrorist attack in Kalli Village, Borgu, Niger State, resulted in the death of 30 people and the burning of a market. The attackers also targeted a Nigerian Police outpost and destroyed property in the area.
