APM Critiques Tinubu's Leadership, Warns of Economic Crisis

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has renewed its criticism of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asserting that he lacks the necessary capacity for effective leadership in Nigeria. National Publicity Secretary Mr. Abubakar Yusuf made these allegations in Abuja, stating that family members and unelected individuals exert undue influence over the administration.

The APM criticized Tinubu's absence from significant international events like the United Nations General Assembly, which they argue are crucial for advancing Nigeria's interests. They also expressed concern over the President's limited engagement with communities affected by terrorism and insecurity.

The party highlighted the adverse economic impact of government policies, including the removal of fuel subsidies and increased borrowing, which they claim have severely pressured businesses and households. The APM stated that Nigeria's debt burden has reached N159.28 trillion, with little improvement in infrastructure or living standards, and warned that the future of millions of Nigerians is at risk due to the current administration's approach.
