Nigeria's Super Eagles Drawn in 2027 AFCON Qualifiers

Nigeria's Super Eagles have been placed in Group L for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers, alongside Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau, and co-host Tanzania. The draw ceremony took place in Cairo, Egypt, and involved 48 teams divided into 12 groups.

The qualifiers are set to kick off on September 21, 2023. The 2027 AFCON will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, scheduled to occur from June 19 to July 17, 2027.

Other notable groups include Morocco leading Group A, Egypt in Group B, and Côte d'Ivoire facing Ghana in Group C. The competition will see various African football giants, including Cameroon, Tunisia, Algeria, and Senegal, competing for a place in the tournament.
