Nigeria and EU Strengthen Trade and Security Partnership

On a recent visit to Nigeria, Kaja Kallas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, met with President Bola Tinubu to discuss strengthening the partnership between Nigeria and the EU, particularly in the areas of trade and security. The meeting, held at the President's residence in Lagos, included key Nigerian officials such as National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu and Minister of Budget and National Planning Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.

Kallas emphasized the importance of collaboration in addressing global security challenges and the volatile economic situation. The discussions also touched on various topics, including investment, trade, and cybersecurity.

President Tinubu assured Kallas of Nigeria's commitment to enhancing the partnership and expressed appreciation for the EU's previous support for the country.
