Nigeria-Indonesia Trade Volume Reaches $6.71 Billion

Nigeria and Indonesia have seen their trade volumes reach $6.71 billion over the past two years, with projections indicating $3.47 billion in 2024 and $3.24 billion in 2025. This disclosure was made by Isiaka Abdulgadir Imam, the Ambassador of Indonesia, during a business forum co-organized by Triple Pillar Consult Limited and the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in collaboration with the Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) held in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Abdulrazaq Amuda, the General Manager of Triple Pillar Consult Limited, urged businesses in Nigeria to leverage the upcoming 41st Trade Expo Indonesia scheduled for October 14-18, 2026, in Jakarta. The event is expected to enhance market access, technology transfer, and business matchmaking opportunities.

Arif Indrakusnadi, Deputy Director of ITPC Lagos, noted the resilience and significant growth potential in the bilateral trade between the two countries, encouraging Nigerian businesses to participate actively.
