Nigeria Reopens Borders with Benin and Niger in Kebbi State for Trade Activities

Nigeria has reopened its borders with Benin and Niger in Kebbi State to enhance bilateral trade activities. The move comes after the borders were closed due to security challenges in the region.

The Nigeria Customs Service in Kebbi State, led by Comptroller Mahmud Matawal Ibrahim, has opened the Tsamiya and Kamba border crossings to facilitate the movement of legitimate goods between Nigeria and the two neighboring countries. This decision was approved by the President of Nigeria.

The reopening of these borders is expected to boost trade activities and strengthen security measures. Both countries have reached agreements to ensure the smooth operation of trade activities across the borders.
