Nigeria Achieves Lowest Petrol Price in West Africa at N739/Litre

Nigeria has recorded the cheapest petrol price in West Africa at N739 per litre, as revealed in the latest energy bulletin by the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN). This places Nigeria at the bottom of the price chart among 12 West African nations.

The significant price difference is highlighted compared to other countries like Togo, Benin, Ghana, and others. The reduction in petrol price is attributed to Dangote Petroleum Refinery cutting its partner's price from N860 to N739 per litre.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) welcomes this development, emphasizing the potential for lower pump prices and improved distribution efficiency.
