Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia Triumph at CIMFF 2025 Mobile Filmmaking Award

Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, and other countries shone at the CIMFF 2025 Mobile Filmmaking Award held in Toronto, Canada. The event showcased 166 film submissions from across the globe, with 30 nominees competing in 10 major award categories.

Winners included Amin Elkadhi from Tunisia for Best Documentary Film, Lindani M Msibi from South Africa for Best Edit, and Charl Mmaduka from Nigeria for Best Fiction Drama. The festival highlighted the transformative role of mobile filmmaking in today's creative landscape, emphasizing accessibility and empowerment for emerging filmmakers.
