Nigeria Targets 15 Million Out-of-School Children by 2027 with New Initiative

Nigeria aims to address the issue of 15 million out-of-school children by 2027 through an initiative led by the National Commission for Nomadic Education. The initiative follows a nationwide survey conducted across six states and the Federal Capital Territory to gather data on the barriers preventing access to education.

The commission is determined to ensure that no community is left behind, with plans to reintegrate youth who have dropped out of school back into the education system.
