Oluremi Tinubu Assures Nigeria Will Overcome Security Issues

During a visit to Ekiti State on Saturday, Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, expressed confidence that Nigeria will soon overcome its security challenges. She described the issues of kidnapping and banditry as disheartening and highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance security across the country.

Tinubu emphasized the need for a review of kidnapping laws and the fast-tracking of processes to create state police. She reaffirmed the commitment of her husband, President Bola Tinubu, to ensure the safety of citizens and to build stronger internal security plans.

Furthermore, she acknowledged the support of traditional rulers and Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji in these efforts. Tinubu also mentioned partnerships with the United States to tackle terrorism and improve security measures.

She called for collective action and prayers for the nation, asserting that Nigeria will overcome its challenges and become a great country.
