Tinubu Tackles Insecurity with Qatari Envoy's Support

On Tuesday, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu received Qatari Ambassador Yousef bin Hassan Al Hail at the Nigerian Embassy. During the courtesy visit, she discussed Nigeria's security challenges, particularly terrorism and kidnapping, which she identified as major concerns.

She assured the ambassador that Nigerian security agencies are intensifying efforts to tackle these issues. Oluremi Tinubu described Nigeria as a vast, peaceful country with friendly and patriotic people, urging young Nigerians to take advantage of the nation's rich natural and cultural resources.

She highlighted the importance of tourism in creating job opportunities and encouraged the youth to explore Nigeria's beauty. The ambassador commended Nigeria and called for stronger bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Nigeria, particularly in the aviation and tourism sectors.

Oluremi Tinubu also urged Nigerians to combat cyberbullying and misinformation on social media, which she believes negatively portrays the country.
