Gbenga Daniel Praises Tinubu at 70th Birthday Event

During a public presentation marking President Bola Tinubu's 70th birthday in Abuja, former Ogun State governor Gbenga Daniel commended Tinubu's pragmatic leadership style and intellectual depth. Daniel stated that Nigeria has yet to see the best of Tinubu, emphasizing his creative governance approach and significant influence on various initiatives.

The event, held at the Yar'Adua Centre, attracted notable political figures, including former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan. Daniel, who served as governor from 2003, reflected on Tinubu's impact on governance and the importance of ethical leadership in addressing national issues such as corruption and misinformation.

He advocated for structural solutions to combat illicit financial flows and emphasized the need for integrity and moral uprightness in public service. The event also featured the unveiling of four books authored by Daniel, who has been recognized for his contributions to Nigeria's political landscape and his entrepreneurial success with Kresta Laurel.
