Nigerian Actress Atinuke Kareem Dies After Cancer Battle

Atinuke Remilekun Kareem, a Nigerian actress popularly known as Atinuke Kareem, has passed away following a long struggle with breast cancer. The announcement was made by Owolabi Ajasa, the governor of the Ogun State chapter of the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), on Tuesday afternoon.

In his statement shared on Instagram, Ajasa expressed appreciation for the financial contributions, prayers, and support provided by the public during Atinuke's treatment. He lamented that despite the collective efforts and prayers, she succumbed to her illness.

Ajasa conveyed condolences to her family, colleagues, and loved ones, praying for their strength in coping with the loss. Atinuke's death occurred four months after she had sought financial assistance from the public for her medical treatment.
