Nigerian Air Force Hits Terrorists in Timbuktu Triangle, Clears Way for Ground Troops

The Nigerian Air Force, in collaboration with the Joint Task Force, carried out an air interdiction operation in the Timbuktu Triangle of Borno State, targeting terrorists. The operation aimed to clear the area for ground troops by employing integrated surveillance and precise strikes on identified targets.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam confirmed the success of the operation, emphasizing the strategic importance of denying terrorists sanctuaries and logistical support. Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Anek, highlighted the mission's success as a reflection of the NAF's commitment to dominating the air domain in support of joint operations.
