Nigerian Arrested in India for Running Drug Lab, Significant Drug Haul Seized

A 36-year-old Nigerian national named Emmanuel was apprehended by the South District Police Unit in India for reportedly operating a drug lab in South Delhi's Devli area. The police discovered a substantial quantity of raw materials required for drug synthesis, including around 16 kg of crystalline material and 16 kg of grain substance used in drug manufacturing.

Additionally, 51 kg of liquid stored in multiple containers, along with 30 unlabeled glass bottles intended for chemical processes, were seized. The total haul included 113 kg of raw materials for heroin and MDMA crystal production, valued at several crores in the international market.

Emmanuel, believed to be living illegally in India, was allegedly involved in the illicit production and distribution of drugs. This arrest is part of a series of Nigerian nationals being apprehended in India for drug-related offenses, amidst increased scrutiny on Nigerians living in countries like Ghana and South Africa.
