Nigerian Breweries Invests N2.5bn in Renewable Energy to Achieve Net-Zero Emissions by 2030

Nigerian Breweries is investing N2.5 billion in renewable energy projects to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. The company's Corporate Affairs Director, Uzodinma Odenigbo, highlighted significant investments in biomass, solar energy, and energy efficiency projects to reduce its carbon footprint.

Nigerian Breweries has also signed multiple power purchase agreements for renewable energy sources. Additionally, the company is focusing on community development initiatives, including tree planting, water replenishment projects, and skill acquisition programs.

Furthermore, Nigerian Breweries is promoting responsible alcohol consumption among commercial drivers through partnerships with organizations like the Federal Road Safety Corps.
