Nigerian Talents Yohanna and Okike Named EPL Prospects

Nigerian youngsters Zadok Yohanna and Calvin Okike have been named among 20 emerging talents anticipated to make an impact in the 2026-27 Premier League season. The list features promising players from each Premier League club.

Brighton & Hove Albion winger Zadok Yohanna stands out after the club invested £21.5 million to acquire the 19-year-old from Swedish club AIK Stockholm. In his last season in Sweden, Yohanna scored five goals and provided four assists in 18 appearances, which drew interest from several top clubs, including Chelsea and Newcastle.

Brighton's swift action to secure Yohanna's services has been praised by former Brighton midfielder Warren Aspinall, who commended the club's recruitment strategy and expressed belief that Yohanna could become a success story at the Amex Stadium.
