Nigerian Girls Detained in Mauritius Regain Freedom

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) confirmed the release of Nigerian girls who had been detained at Mauritius airport since July 31, 2026. Their detention sparked public concern after a viral video was shared on social media, prompting calls for government intervention.
