Nigerian Navy Celebrates 70th Anniversary with Volleyball Match

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Nigerian Navy, Forward Operating Base (FOB) Escravos organized a novelty volleyball match aimed at promoting physical fitness and healthy competition among personnel. The event took place at the Chevron Nigeria Limited volleyball court, attended by officers and civilian guests.

Captain Arinzechukwu Kenneth Egwuatuonwu, the command officer of FOB Escravos, officially declared the event open, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and physical fitness. The match featured a competitive spirit among the teams, and after the game, medals and trophies were awarded to the winning team.

Captain Egwuatuonwu commended the participants for displaying sportsmanship and teamwork, encouraging personnel to maintain discipline and dedication in their professional duties while also advising them on the importance of fitness for health.
