Nigerian Pastor Kedi Samuel Kenechukwu Linked to Body Discovery

On September 19, 2026, a mummified body was found buried beneath a concrete slab at a property in Nkoabang, Yaoundé, associated with Nigerian Pastor Kedi Samuel Kenechukwu, also known as Ekedi Samuel. Kenechukwu, the founder of Mercy of God Ministry, is currently in hiding following a manhunt initiated by Cameroonian security forces.

The discovery was made by officers from the Nkoabang Special Police Station during an investigation into Kenechukwu, who is wanted on allegations of human trafficking, unlawful arrest, and kidnapping. The body was located inside a white-and-gold coffin approximately 1.5 meters underground, but the identity of the deceased woman and the circumstances surrounding her death were not established at the time.

This discovery followed earlier searches of the property, where investigators found five vehicles, food supplies, and a pit of unclear purpose. Kenechukwu has been operating in Cameroon since 2018, and authorities have involved Interpol in efforts to locate him.
