Pastor Abidemi Odukoya and Wife Found Dead in Ogun

Abidemi Odukoya, an evangelist of the Celestial Church of Christ, and his wife, Adenike, were found dead after an alleged domestic dispute at their residence in the Akinode/Ibogun community on Monday, August 25. The couple reportedly engaged in a physical altercation, prompting neighbors to call for help around 1 AM.

Adejimi Olawumi, a former Chairman of the Community Development Association, recounted hearing cries for help and discovering Adenike lying in a pool of blood. Odukoya was later found after being struck by a vehicle in the Ifo area of Ogun State.

The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are ongoing. The couple had a history of disagreements, as noted by Odukoya's younger sister, who mentioned that they had previously sought help to resolve their conflicts.

Adenike was buried on the day of the incident, while Odukoya was laid to rest on Wednesday, September 2.
