Nigerian Police Intercept Vehicle Carrying Explosives in Katsina, Arrest Suspects

The Nigerian Police in Katsina intercepted a vehicle carrying explosives during a routine security operation. The police spokesperson, DSP Abubakar Aliyu, revealed that the vehicle was stopped at a checkpoint in the Koza Daura local government area.

The search led to the discovery of a significant amount of explosive materials, including detonators. Two suspects, Ibrahim Murtala Sulaiman and Muhammad, were arrested in connection with the incident.

The police are conducting further investigations to apprehend additional suspects. The Police Command in Katsina State is intensifying security measures to protect lives and property.
